Here on this log home we sprayed 7” of closed cell foam in the vaulted ceiling for a r49 rating and on the gable ends we sprayed 2” of closed cell for a r14 rating to seal up any gaps and give it a permanent vapor barrier that the home builder came back with fiberglass batting to complete the insulation on the gable ends.
